The core team’s role is to facilitate better partnership working and alignment of activity that supports people back into work. We work with a wide variety of partners and providers to co-ordinate learning, skills and employability provision that is responsive to employer needs and, where possible, is linked to guaranteed interviews. We also facilitate stronger connections to in work support and progression activity through Train to Gain.
One of our key aims is to reduce duplication and build on successful programmes and activities delivered by partners across the conurbation. It’s often complex and challenging but we’re all committed to making things work better.
